Northumbria Leisure Limited was founded in 1973 by Peter Macklam following several years of extensive experience working in a senior capacity for Bell Fruit Ltd and Scottish Breweries. We are one of the longest established Independent Amusement Companies In the North East and are also members of the British Amusement Catering Trades Association and the independent Operators Association.

We give a very personal service, which we are rightfully proud of, and feel that this element is lacking in some of the larger national organisations operating in a similar environment. Over a period of many years, we have become continually aware of how important our customer requirements are, and as an independent company we are driven by a desire to fulfil this aspect as a big part of our current business ethos.

In view of this approach, and by the amount of positive recommendation and customer feedback we have received, we feel extremely proud of being increasingly seen as a superior alternative to some national operators.
